October [English summary of original Danish text].<\/p>\n<p>Early breakfast since we were going on a fu<i>ll day\u00a0<\/i>birding-tur to\u00a0<i>Ant\u00f3n Dry Forest<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Juan<\/i>\u00a0<i>Hombron<\/i>\u00a0og\u00a0<i>Santa<\/i>\u00a0<i>Clara.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>A <\/i>very nice morning with clear sky and mist in the bottom od the volcano crater we are staying in.<\/p>\n<p>First birds were <strong>Bat Falcon<\/strong> and <strong>Wedge-tailed Grass-finch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It was a hot day with <i>stop-and-go roadside birding. <\/i>Down in the lowland of the Pacific Slope we drow on some dirt roads with many potholes and it was a very bumpy tour<i>. <\/i>But we did see many birds &#8211; <strong>Barred Ant-Shrike<\/strong>, <strong>Rufous-browed Pepper-Shrike<\/strong>, <strong>Veraguan Mango<\/strong>, <strong>Lance-tailed Manakin <\/strong>and <strong>Lesser Yellow-headed Vulture<\/strong> to name a few species.<\/p>\n<p>We were having lunch at a beach house at the Pacific Ocean and we took a dip (only up to the knees). Good numbers of\u00a0<em>frigatebirds<\/em> and some <strong>Whrimbel<\/strong> and <strong>Willets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the afternoon we managed to see a pair of <strong>Ferruginous Pygmy-Owls<\/strong> and a pair of <strong>Crested Bobwhite<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAfter returning to the lodge thunder and lightning was passing through the area and it began to rain.<\/p>\n<p>The day finished with a surprise when two <em>Panamanian Night Monkeys<\/em> was spotted in a tree just outside the dining area.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/dsc_00641727890551.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-42\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/p__20171027_152932_resized1-1746157284.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-41 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/p__20171027_160816_resized1-555748248.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/20171027142607_img_68361313496465.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-47\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/20171027150428_img_6840-116469337.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-44 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/albicillaexplorer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/20171027153450_dscn9145-659598596.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, 27.
