Vi var som vanligt tidligt oppe &#8211; lige\ntil solopgangen &#8211; og vejret s\u00e5 heldigvis lovende ud. Mod syd var der nogle\ntynde h\u00f8jtliggende skyer og hvis de bare holdt sig sydp\u00e5 ville de ikke blive\nnoget problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der var\nallerede en p\u00e6nt lang k\u00f8 til &#8220;vores&#8221; kaffebiks, og det var endda et\nkvarter f\u00f8r de \u00e5bnede! Os &#8220;fastliggere&#8221; kunne godt m\u00e6rke at der var\nkommet mange flere g\u00e6ster det seneste d\u00f8gn. Der var folk alle vegne, lange k\u00f8er\ntil toiletterne og alts\u00e5 ogs\u00e5 til kaffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det endte\nmed en billigere &#8220;filterkaffe&#8221; hos biksen der ellers s\u00e6lger bisquits\nand gravy(!) da vi ogs\u00e5 skulle n\u00e5 at have den &#8220;Eclipse breakfast&#8221; som\nvi havde booket hjemmefra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alle gjorde\nsig klar og det gjorde vi ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 vores hj\u00f8rne og fik kameraer og teleskop sat op.\nSkyerne vagte nu en vis bekymring da de desv\u00e6rre bev\u00e6gede sig nordp\u00e5 og n\u00e6rmede\nsig &nbsp;omr\u00e5det, hvor solen ville v\u00e6re under totaliteten. &nbsp;Men heldigvis\nvar de meget tynde og solen kunne ses igennem uden nogle problemer. Stemningen, de\ntusindvis af menneskers reaktion lige op til, under og lige efter totaliteten &#8211;\ndet var b\u00e5de vildt og meget f\u00f8lelsesladet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det var <em>The Great American Eclipse<\/em> &#8211; som den totale solform\u00f8rkelse blev promoveret som i USA!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det hele g\u00e5r\nbare s\u00e5 hurtigt og der er s\u00e5 meget man gerne vil n\u00e5 at opleve, s\u00e5 det er en\nmeget surrealistisk oplevelse. Det var vanvittigt flot at se den totale solform\u00f8rkelse,\nf\u00f8rst ramte m\u00e5nens skygge Mount Jefferson bag pg s\u00e5 Solar Town da totaliteten\nindtr\u00e6f. Det var vildt med coronaen og i teleskopet kunne vi oven i k\u00f8bet\nsenogle imponerende solar flares. Enkelte stjerner der kortvarigt blev synlige,\nplaneten Venus n\u00e6r solen og the diamond ring da totaliteten sluttede. Vi ville under alle omst\u00e6ndighedet\ntidligt k\u00f8rer sidst p\u00e5 dagen og m\u00e5ske endda vente til tirsdag afh\u00e6ngig af,\nhvordan trafikken blev afviklet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men uanset\ns\u00e5 var det en fantastisk oplevelse.
