Although the summer ended. It was the last weekend in August, but there was plenty to look forward to \u2013 H\u00f8st M\u00f8n<\/a><\/em> 2022, the last festival of the summer! Two-day music festival on Vestm\u00f8n with great music, organic draft beer, locally brewed gin, and communal dining. All at the small cozy campsite M\u00f8n Camping<\/a><\/em> by H\u00e5rb\u00f8lle Strand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the second year we participated in the music festival H\u00f8st M\u00f8n, which is held in August at the M\u00f8n Camping campsite. Read, or re-read At the festival on Vestm\u00f8n \u2013 Autumn M\u00f8n 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Danish media you could read that this year it has been difficult to get volunteers for the year’s many festivals. And H\u00f8st M\u00f8n could also use more volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year we were volunteers at this year’s Roskilde Festival – see Nine days of music, a festival atmosphere, and thousands of happy people<\/a>. We also considered a volunteer job at H\u00f8st M\u00f8n. But we had secured tickets in good time, and really we just needed to enjoy a few days of music and fun. Nevertheless, we offered the organizers that they could lend a couple of extra hands if they needed a little help. That is until the music started! They could use that. We, therefore, checked in already on Friday morning, got wristbands, and found a place for Cama Coche<\/em> and Camp Albicilla<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the campsite, there was a rush to get all the last details and practical things ready. The festival was due to open a few hours later. The hustle and bustle did not diminish when the fire authorities had just passed by, with the result that some adjustments and changes had to be made at the last minute – i.a. in relation to the festival’s camping area. There should be more distance between tents and caravans or motorhomes! We therefore also had to move Camp Albicilla<\/em> to another area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After moving some sound equipment, the extra hands were used to help get the festival goers into place in the camping area. Uffe made sure that tents were placed within the marked tent areas. Tents were also not allowed to be placed too close to the permanent residents’ caravans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, Bente controlled the parking of campervans and motorhomes with a firm hand. The distance requirement of 3 meters was respected with precision in the best camping manager’s way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We produced a “No parking \/ Camper area” sign that was supposed to prevent the motorhome area outside the campsite from becoming a parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all went smoothly, people were nice and friendly. Everyone was just looking forward to a few days of music and good vibes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
