Vi forlod Reef Rd, Nanoose kl. 8.35 og k\u00f8rte til Duke Point for at tage f\u00e6rgen til Tsawwassen. Sejltiden tog to timer og vi placerede os naturligvis p\u00e5 \u00f8verste d\u00e6k helt fremme med udsigt &#8211; vi satsede jo p\u00e5 at se nogle fugle og nogle havpattedyr \ud83d\ude42<br \/>Det blev ikke til s\u00e5 meget &#8211; dog spottede UDA en adult Pomarine Jeager (mellemkjove), der passerede f\u00e6rgen, tog en lille runde og fl\u00f8j videre. Og i den forbindelse faldt vi i snak med et ungt par fra Frankfurt, som ogs\u00e5 var fuglekiggere og havde placeret sig ikke langt fra os.<br \/>I Tsawwassen fandt vi busstopstedet og var klar til bussen. Der var ret varmt og der kom bare flere og flere mennesker, der skulle med samme bus. Vi kom da heldigvis nemt med og s\u00e5 gik det mod Airport Station hvor vi skiftede til 98 B-line North til Downtown Vancouver. Der bor mange kinesere og andre asiatere i Vancouver kunne vi undervejs konstatere. Vi fandt hotellet og fik sat vores rygs\u00e6kke og s\u00e5 gik vi ud i byen. F\u00f8rst op til Robson Street, der er en shoppinggade &#8211; vi forsatte ud af den til vi kom v\u00e6k fra den mest turistede del af den og fandt en lille fin caf\u00e9 og k\u00f8bte sandwich. Derefter fortsatte vi med en tur rundt i Stanley Park. F\u00f8rst Lost Lagoon med Canadag\u00e6s, Ring-billed Gull og Raccons &#8211; 7 styks som vi kom meget meget t\u00e6t p\u00e5. S\u00e5 op forbi en rosenhave, med en masse flotte blomster og egentlig ikke ret mange roser. Ned langs havnen, forbi et First Nations Natives omr\u00e5de med nogle flotte totemp\u00e6le. Langs havnefronten og n\u00f8d det varme vejr. Vi fik g\u00e5et en del inden vi fandt en hyggelig restaurant og fik en ganske glimrende pastaret. S\u00e5 var det ogs\u00e5 blevet m\u00f8rkt, men vi gik igen ned til havnefronten og sad og kiggede p\u00e5 aftenlivet og en rig families middagsbes\u00f8g p\u00e5 deres &#8216;lille&#8217; b\u00e5d &#8211; det var ganske underholdende. Aftenen sluttede vi af med f\u00f8rst en tur i en 3-etagers boghandel, der lukkede kl 22 og s\u00e5 lige med at tjekke de n\u00e6rliggende morgenmadssteder \u00e5bningstider, s\u00e5 vi kan n\u00e5 at f\u00e5 noget inden bussen til Sea-Tac.<br \/>B&amp;U.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Onsdag &#8211; 17.09.2008 kl. 22.25 PDT.S\u00e5 sidder vi p\u00e5 vores hotelv\u00e6relse i Downtown Vancouver.
