Vi k\u00f8bte en lille cypres og nogle lyngplaner som BEST senere p\u00e5 dagen plantede i en potte. Det er en &#8216;tak for l\u00e5n&#8217; gave.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_PZqvJu7i_-g\/SM_gH7GDtWI\/AAAAAAAABRE\/ZeMuZ9Tc974\/s1600-h\/fremkaldtVancouverIsland20080915_153.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_PZqvJu7i_-g\/SM_gH7GDtWI\/AAAAAAAABRE\/ZeMuZ9Tc974\/s320\/fremkaldtVancouverIsland20080915_153.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246658517636724066\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Igen i dag en tur til Columbia Beach (Johnstone Rd) for at se om der ogs\u00e5 var mange vadefugle i dag. Det var der, men de gik mere spredt da der stadig var lavvandet. I dag snakkede vi en del med en ung canadisk birder og fotograf. Ham og hans kone havde solgt deres hus i Edmonton, Alberta og havde nu boet tre m\u00e5neder p\u00e5 Vancouer Island for at se p\u00e5 fugle og fotografere. Vi s\u00e5 5 kalkungribbe sidde p\u00e5 stranden og rode efter krapper og muslinger. Den ene fl\u00f8j hurtigt, men de fire fik vi da et par billeder af. Vi tog en tur i havkajakkerne, padlede rundt om Mistaken Island og ud til s\u00e6lkolonien, hvor der allerede var et par andre i en dobbeltkajak. De er nu s\u00f8de og sjove de harbour seals. I dag var der ogs\u00e5 en black oystercatcher og en black turnstone, men ingen \u00f8rne og heller ingen hvaler.<\/p>\n<p>Vi spiste suppe p\u00e5 terrassen i m\u00e5neskinnet og n\u00f8d den meget stille aften.
