Det skyldes at BEST lige har st\u00e5et i k\u00f8kkenet og bagt kager til os \ud83d\ude42 Vi kom nemlig til at springe eftermiddagsisen over &#8211; og der var endda 24 forskellige slags at v\u00e6lge imellem! Og da vi fik sund og vegetarisk aftensmad med b\u00f8nner, broccoli og majs s\u00e5 m\u00e5 vi godt lige f\u00e5 lidt usundt til aftenteen.<br \/>De 24 slags is var ved Qualicum Beach, hvor vi brugte et par timer ved strandpromenaden og n\u00f8d solen, der har skinnet fra en n\u00e6sten skyfri himmel i dag. Man kunne m\u00e6rke det var weekend og godt vejr, da der var en del mennesker ude og promenere, bade og holde picnic. Vi kan s\u00e5 i \u00f8vrigt, for de interesserede oplyse, at grillkul heller ikke virker i Canada. Der blev i hvert fald suppleret med ekstra t\u00e6ndv\u00e6ske og drivt\u00f8mmer for at f\u00e5 l&#8230;.. til at br\u00e6nde.<br \/>I formiddags k\u00f8rte vi op til naturparken ved Englishman River Falls og gik en tur i skoven. I parken er der nogle vandfald som de lokale canadier og tyske turister k\u00f8rer ud og kigger p\u00e5. Vi s\u00f8gte derefter videre mod Dudley Marsh, som vi ogs\u00e5 fandt. Det var et sjovt lille og sp\u00e6ndende sted med en del sm\u00e5fugle, der skjulte sig godt i tr\u00e6erne(bl.a. Golden Crowned Kinglet, Chestnutbacked Chickadee). Vi fandt et lille fuglet\u00e5rn. F\u00f8rst var der ikke rigtig noget at se, men pludselig skete, der en masse. En Wood Duck skr\u00e6ppede og fl\u00f8j op, 3 Wilsons snipes lettede og fl\u00f8j rundt og s\u00e5 kom der 2 Coopers Hawks, der landede. En meget kraftig grov klapprende trille l\u00f8d, som viste sig at tilh\u00f8re en Belted Kingfisher, som fl\u00f8j rundt lige ved t\u00e5rnet &#8211; fedt. Det er en overdimensioneret isfugl! P\u00e5 vej ud af omr\u00e5det l\u00e6ste vi lige infotavlerne, der beskrev omr\u00e5det og fortalte, at udover fuglene er bj\u00f8rne ogs\u00e5 aktive brugere af omr\u00e5det!<br \/>Og s\u00e5 lige en lille quiz.
