Vi v\u00e5gnede igen meget tidligt i morges – vi har ikke helt v\u00e6nnet os til tidsforskellen endnu. I morges gjorde det ikke s\u00e5 meget, vi skulle tidligt op for at n\u00e5 f\u00e6rgen til Vancouver Island.<\/p>\n

F\u00e6rgeturen gik fint, der var dog noget overskyet men det regnede heldigvis ikke. Vind var der ikke meget af, hvilket vi kunne fornemme p\u00e5 kaptajenen, at hun var lidt skuffet over! Under overfarten fik vi set en del lomvier og nogle af de sm\u00e5 alkefugle. Det blev ogs\u00e5 til nogle havpattedyr (delfiner eller marsvin). Fremme i Victoria var der solskin og en udem\u00e6rket temperatur, og det f\u00f8rste vi gjorde efter vi var kommet igennem paskontrollen var at finde Greyhound stationen. Vi kunne lige akurat n\u00e5 at k\u00f8be billetter til 11.45 afgangen (2 minutter f\u00f8r afgang). Vi havde ellers kalkuleret med en tur rundt i Victoria inden vi ville have taget en senere afgang, men da vi ikke kunne f\u00e5 opbevaret bagagen \u00e6ndrede vi lige lidt p\u00e5 planerne.<\/p>\n

To timer senere, og med flere kalkungribbe set fra bussen, blev vi sat af i Nanaimo og n\u00e6ste udfordring var at finde en taxi og blive k\u00f8rt til Duke Point, hvor vi skulle hente bilen. Det lykkedes og en lille halvtime senere var vi p\u00e5 vej til Nanoose Bay i “vores” Honda CRV 4WD \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Vi har nu 4-hjulstr\u00e6k og automatgear – det gik fint, Uffe ledte kun efter gearstangen 3-4 gange \ud83d\ude09 Det var med en vis sp\u00e6nding, at vi fortsatte turen mod Reef Rd. 1468, som vi dog fandt uden problemer. Vi m\u00e5 sige at udsigten fra spisebord og sofa er ganske forrygende og lever fuldt ud op til forventningerne – det vil vi nyde de n\u00e6ste 3\u00bd uge.<\/p>\n

Vi har ikke set \u00f8rnen endnu (Bald Eagle) men vi har da f\u00e5et nogle andre nye og sp\u00e6ndende arter p\u00e5 terrasselisten.<\/p>\n

Vi er ved at v\u00e6re godt tr\u00e6tte igen efter endnu en oplevelsesrig dag – hvad planerne er for i morgen har vi endnu ikke besluttet. Der ligger bunker med turforslag, som vores ‘byttevenner’ har lagt frem til os – s\u00e5 m\u00e5 vi jo se hvad der frister. Vejret er lidt k\u00f8ligt i det, s\u00e5dan lidt efter\u00e5rsagtigt, men solen har dog skinnet det meste af dagen, vi f\u00e5r se hvad imorgen bringer.
